About us

Who we are? We are just people who like this unique river very much. Egeny Ganichev is well known fly fisherman in Murmansk region. He grew up on the Titovka riverside and knows every stone inside the stream. It is totally his idea to share his love for the river with you.

His "Titovka Camp" is located on the river Titovka on North-West of the Kola Peninsula in Murmansk region, near the Norwegian border. Kola Peninsula is an amazing place on the planet, attracting true fans of real fishing, eager to spend time in the arms of wild nature caught by the stunning ardor. Pristine natural beauty, white nights, fast rapids of the river, the air of a sea fjord, and of course, the jewel of northern rivers - salmon, will excite your memory for long!

Titovka River Valley is truly a royal place, combining the beauty of the tundra in the upper and of the taiga almost at the mouth of the river. It is as though different climatic zones of the Earth intertwined, surprising high trees and waist-high ferns in the lower reaches and dwarf birch trees and moss in the upper reaches. And you can infinitely admire a clear water, which for centuries is brought to the sea by the river... In addition to fishing you can enjoy the unique northern nature, a variety of landscapes, picking berries and mushrooms.

River Titovka has amazingly comfortable and classic shore and convenient shallows for the fly- fishing. There is no "uncomfortable place" for fishing and for fish playing, and walking along the river in search of the treasured fish is a real pleasure.

At Salmon rivers there is a set of rules for the amateur and sport fishing, which is different from the fishing rules of central Russia.

The best time for salmon fishing is spring and autumn runs of the fish out of the sea - May 15 - August 15. Basically the salmon in Titovka is a middle weighted. In spring you can catch beauty 20-25 pounds, in mid June every 10-15 pounders will give you to feel what does it mean real "fresh from the sea", and from the first of July to the end of the season - "tinda" 3-8 pounds, but this herd is always accompanied by a certain number of "Grandfathers".)) Amateur and sport fishing of Atlantic salmon in the Kola Peninsula is allowed only for the persons having licenses, which we will purchase for you right on the river at the point of "Murmanrybvod" license sale.

Under the license, "catch and release" fishing is allowed 24 hours and you may catch and respectively release without harm 3 salmons, making an entry in the license.

We promote a "catch and release" fishing to maintain the population of this valuable fish species.

There can also offer a guided tour of the legendary Rybachiy Peninsula. For the last 3-5 years, this place has become a tourist Mecca for the russian and foreign tourists. This tour is really worth your attention: the unique nature, places of military glory (almost intact), historical monuments, such as the camp of the ancient people with rock paintings, and finally, this is the "Land's End", further you may find only the deepfrosen soil and glaciers. The excursion will be conducted by the honored local historian on the Kola Peninsula, honorary member of the Writers Union of Russia, head of the field office for historical and patriotic activities of Murmansk regional administration. This tour is not included in the price of fishing trip and should be paid separately.

If you are interested, you should notify it in advance when booking the tour. In the framework of this tour we can also offer sea fishing on board the 6-meter boat "Quick Silver" type aiming to fish the northern sea cod, haddock, plaice, pollock, halibut, catfish, etc. There you will be taken on comfortable and warm GAZ 66 automobile wagons, with beds and stoves and everything inside that you need in the far north conditions.

But don't forget about fishing...)
